Work with me

Executive coaching that puts clarity first, then action.

Every engagement starts with understanding what's really in the way. From there we pick the right format: one-to-one, with your leadership team, or as an advisor to you as the owner.

For senior leaders & C-suite

Executive Coaching

A confidential one-to-one partnership for leaders navigating complexity, change and high-stakes decisions. We work on the real issues in front of you, and on how you lead through them.

Typical situations

  • You've moved into a larger role and your operating style needs to evolve with it
  • You need space to think strategically while the day-to-day keeps pulling at you
  • Your team's performance depends on better delegation, communication and accountability
  • You're making more complex, higher-stakes calls and want a sharper sounding board
  • You're leading people through organizational change or a transition

What changes

  • Clearer priorities, and the discipline to protect them
  • More confidence in hard decisions
  • A team that takes on more because you've stopped carrying it
  • Leadership capability that lasts beyond the engagement
For leadership teams

Strategy & Team Sessions

An independent facilitator for the conversations your leadership team needs to have but can't easily run from the inside. I prepare with you, run the room and keep it focused on decisions, owners and next steps.

Common engagements

  • Annual or multi-year strategic planning sessions
  • Reorganizations and setting a new growth path
  • Team and culture assessments, such as surveys and interviews, with findings you can act on
  • Realigning a senior team around shared priorities and accountability

Even as a small company we benefitted immensely and expect to see the results in this coming year's revenue and EBIT.

For business owners

Owner Advisory

For owners whose business has grown past the point where they can, or should, run everything themselves. Together we build the leadership, systems and strategy for the next stage, and reduce the business's dependence on you.

Typical situations

  • Growth has plateaued or is getting harder to sustain
  • Everything still runs through you
  • You're preparing for an acquisition, a sale or succession
  • Your team isn't aligned around shared priorities

How we get started

Conversation

A 30-minute call about what you're facing. No pitch, just a useful discussion.

Focus

If there's a fit, we define the outcomes that matter and how we'll know we got there.

Work

Regular sessions, or a facilitated event, built around your actual priorities.

Review

We check progress against the goals we set and adjust as your situation changes.

Questions

Common questions

Is coaching confidential?

Yes. What we discuss stays between us. When a company sponsors an engagement, we agree up front on what gets shared with the sponsor, which is usually goals and progress, never the content of our conversations.

Do you work in person or remotely?

Both. One-to-one coaching usually works well over video. Strategy and team sessions are often best in person, and I work with leaders across Greater Seattle.

How is this different from consulting?

A consultant gives you answers. I help you and your team reach better answers yourselves, while bringing direct experience and a point of view when it's useful. The capability stays with you.

What does it cost?

It depends on the format and scope. We'll talk about it on the first call once I understand what you need, and I'll give you a clear proposal.

Not sure which fits? That's what the first call is for.
